NI Conservatives’ spokesman, Mark Brotherson, has condemned a petrol bomb attack on an Alliance Party office in east Belfast.
“The attack on Naomi Long MP’s office was disgraceful”, Mark said. “There is no place for violence and intimidation in our society and it is particularly worrying when it’s aimed at elected representatives.”
“These type of attacks make it even more important that the way in which politics are practised in Northern Ireland is improved. It undermines extreme elements when the most difficult issues are tackled constructively.”
“Democrats should redouble their efforts to make sure extremism does not flourish in our society.”
