The North Down Conservatives enjoyed a truly exceptional BBQ on Saturday 4th July, generously hosted by the Chairman of the Northern Ireland Conservatives, Paul Leeman, at his home. The event was a tremendous success, attracting an excellent turnout of members, supporters, and friends for an afternoon filled with great food, engaging conversation, and a wonderful sense of community.
From the moment guests arrived, they were made to feel warmly welcome. The beautiful surroundings and relaxed atmosphere provided the perfect setting for members to reconnect with longstanding friends, meet new supporters, and discuss the issues that matter most to North Down and beyond. The superb barbecue was enjoyed by all, with plenty of delicious food and refreshments contributing to a thoroughly enjoyable occasion.
A particular highlight of the afternoon was the outstanding musical entertainment provided by Peter and Rick. Their varied repertoire and lively performances created a fantastic atmosphere, with guests thoroughly enjoying the music throughout the event. Their contribution added an extra dimension to an already memorable gathering and was warmly appreciated by everyone in attendance.
The BBQ was also honoured by the attendance of North Down MP Alex Easton MP, whose presence was warmly welcomed by members and guests alike. The opportunity to meet and speak with him added further value to the afternoon and contributed to the positive and engaging spirit of the event.
Special thanks are due to Paul Leeman for his generous hospitality in opening his home and for helping to make the event such a resounding success. Appreciation is also extended to everyone who worked behind the scenes to organise the BBQ, prepare the food, and ensure everything ran so smoothly.
