The Northern Ireland Conservatives Conference 2025 brought together members, supporters, and industry leaders for a day of insightful discussions, policy debate, and a renewed commitment to strengthening the Party’s presence in Northern Ireland. Held in front of a packed audience, the conference was headlined by Conservative Party Leader, Kemi Badenoch, who delivered an inspiring keynote address, setting out a bold vision for Northern Ireland’s future. She reaffirmed the Party’s commitment to economic renewal, investment, and ensuring Northern Ireland’s voice is heard at the heart of government. Before her speech, Kemi visited a local farm, meeting with farmers and agricultural leaders to discuss the challenges facing the industry. The visit underscored the Party’s dedication to supporting Northern Ireland’s farmers and ensuring that agriculture remains a pillar of the regional economy.

Alongside Kemi, the conference welcomed senior Conservative figures, including Alex Burghart MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, who spoke about the Party’s strategy for the region, and the Chair of the Conservative Party’s National Convention, Julian Ellacott who discussed the importance of grassroots engagement and Party growth in Northern Ireland. The event also featured a series of panel discussions, bringing together key voices from Northern Ireland’s economy, including William Irvine, President of the Ulster Farmers' Union, Glyn Roberts, Chief Executive of Retail NI, Colin Neill, Chief Executive of Hospitality Ulster and Harry Wick, Chief Executive of The Northern Ireland Fish Producers' Organisation. They provided key insights into the challenges and opportunities facing Northern Ireland’s business community, focusing on agriculture, retail, and hospitality, and highlighting the need for policies that foster growth, innovation, and long-term stability.

Following a spectacular lunch, Ulster Unionist MLA Steve Aiken got the room into high spirits by kickstarting a fun raffle, bringing members together in an entertaining and lighthearted moment that added to the lively atmosphere of the day.

The high attendance and enthusiastic engagement from members highlighted the growing momentum behind the Northern Ireland Conservatives. The conference provided an opportunity to reflect on the Party’s progress, connect with supporters, and look ahead to the next steps in building a strong voice for Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland Conservatives Chairman, Paul Leeman for the Northern Ireland Conservatives said: "Having the leader here today demonstrates the commitment the party has to Northern Ireland and we are incredibly grateful she could join us. The event was a great success, and we are glad to announce it is now a permanent feature of the national Conservative Party Events Calendar."

As the Party continues to expand its reach, the Northern Ireland Conservatives remain committed to championing policies that support economic growth, political stability, and opportunity for all.
