Recently, a large group of party members from Northern Ireland travelled to Cairnryan to help canvass in Stranraer for Julie Currie and the Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party. Saturday 15th November was a great day in terms of weather, dry if a bit blustry. Arriving as foot passengers in Cairnryan at 10am, they were straight into a day's work at Stranraer and the surrounding areas.
With such a large number of people out on foot, they were able to cover a large area of Stranraer and helped engage with the local residents.
Leaving on the last ferry back to Belfast, we left Julie and colleagues in great spirits.
