NI Conservatives' co-chair, Trevor Ringland, has described Tony McCoy as 'inspirational', after the champion jump jockey rode his 4,000 winner.
"AP McCoy is a supreme example of Northern Irish achievement in sport", Trevor noted. "His feat of riding 4,000 winners is unlikely to be bettered by any jump jockey."
"In business, science, the military and sport, there are people from Northern Ireland performing at the highest level. They are an inspiration and Tony McCoy is a particular inspiration for everyone from these shores."
