NI Conservatives’ chairman, Harry Cullen, paid tribute to the former Northern Ireland environment minister, Sam Foster, who has passed away, describing him as “a gentleman and a faithful public servant”.
“First of all, the NI Conservatives express condolences to Sam’s loved ones and friends”, Harry said. “He was a gentleman, who served the public faithfully and diligently, and he was also a constructive politician. The CBE which he received in 2002 was an appropriate recognition of his contribution to Northern Ireland society.”
