The Conservative candidate for South Belfast, Ben Manton, condemned the murder of former IRA man, Gerard Davison, who was shot dead in the Markets area, this morning.
“Clearly this crime is completely unacceptable and should be condemned without reservation”, Ben stated. “The murder was carried out in broad daylight, in a residential area and it has been a distressing event for local people.”
“If anyone has any information about this killing, or if they witnessed anything suspicious, they should contact the police immediately.”
