Northern Ireland Conservatives’ chairman and North Antrim businessman, Irwin Armstrong, has congratulated Loughiel Shamrocks on their stunning all-Ireland club hurling final victory.
“This is a marvellous achievement for Loughiel, who have ended a 29 year wait to bring the all-Ireland back to the club. The Ulster champions are a super club and this is a fine accolade for hurling in the area. North Antrim has become a powerhouse of the sport .”
