NI Conservatives’ spokesman, Bill Manwaring, has condemned so-called ‘punishment attacks’, after a teenage boy was shot in West Belfast this morning.
“This was a cowardly shooting, carried out by those who want to drag our communities back into the past”, Bill said. “Unfortunately it appears the incident was another punishment style attack, perpetrated by people who are completely unaccountable and determined to bring anarchy and mob rule back onto the streets of Northern Ireland.”
“This type of thuggery simply can’t be tolerated. Anyone with any information should contact the police immediately.”
