NI Conservatives’ spokeswoman, Lesley Macaulay, has congratulated Their Royal Highnesses’, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who are expecting their first baby.
“It’s marvellous that the Duke and Duchess are expecting a child”, Lesley said. “Of course the royal couple has a very special connection to Northern Ireland, as they are also Baron and Baroness of Carrickfergus, and they came here on one of their first official engagements together.”
“They will be wonderful parents and I’m sure everyone in Northern Ireland wishes them all the very best for the pregnancy and for the future.”
