NI Conservatives’ councillor, Brian Dunn, has welcomed Caterpillar’s £7 million investment in its Northern Ireland factories.
“It is great news that the company is making a serious commitment to its operation here”, Brian noted. “In Larne and elsewhere in Northern Ireland, FG Wilson and Caterpillar can draw upon an enormous amount of engineering expertise.”
“There is a huge amount of potential to expand the operation in Larne further. Caterpillar moved to Northern Ireland because it recognised the immense resource of skills at FG Wilson. That resource makes the current factories brilliant places to invest and continue to realise their potential.”
